So, we were faced with a daunting project: a nearly 100 year old house in Marble Cliff, Ohio that was in terrible shape - with good bones. We undertook a top to bottom renovation of this 3-story house. Faced with design choices for the reno including colors, granite, tile, wood floor refinishing, etc., we did not know where to begin. Enter June and Lori. They toured the house in its dilapidated state. I was almost embarrassed for them to see it, but when they did, their eyes lit up as they were seeing a vision of what it could be.

 We asked for one primary thing of them and that was to honor the historical integrity/feel of the house but give us a modern home to live in. Of course, they were already way ahead of us as that is what they saw. They worked directly with our builder at every step of the way. They really pushed us at times beyond our comfort zone, but always listening to our ideas and questions. And yes, there were those times that we freaked out a bit when we would see something being done (e.g. floor stain color). They would always go out of their way to assure us that we could not look at one particular item, but needed to understand that it was just one part of the whole. And they were right!  The finished project was incredible when it all came together.

 At the same time, we did not have furnishings appropriate for our new house. I (Wade) get overwhelmed in furniture stores and just cannot seem to find my way through them.  June and Lori shopped for appropriate furnishings giving us a couple of choices for each piece and upholstery pallet. It all worked beautifully together and is appropriate to our vintage home. Alone, we would have made some expensive choice mistakes, but with June and Lori, it went without a hitch.

 We love the finished project and friends can’t stop complimenting the beauty of our home. There is one room we left undone as we were not exactly sure how we were going to use it. and we have just engaged them to design that room as well.

We found an office space with an excellent layout for our company.  However, our employees shared that it had a depressing industrial vibe due to the colors used by the previous tenant. We hired June and Lori to update the look of the space, and now our employees enjoy working in the space.  As an added bonus, we had a recent client share that the office space fit well with our brand.

Choosing a designer for your home is such a critical and personal decision since your home reflects so much about you as a person and family… But when we first met June and Lori and then talked while we toured our home, we knew they were who we needed. They listened. That was important right from the start.

They immediately understood our style and tastes, and instantly recognized our desire to change and evolve that style. They immediately had visions for dining room, living room and entry foyer on our first floor, plus some ideas for two other rooms. In the end, those three rooms were completely redesigned and flowed with our kitchen and family room!

They pushed us to look at colors, textures, patterns, decor and fabrics in new ways and understood how far they could push us in our comfort zone. From the tiniest of details, to the biggest of decisions, we were completely happy with their services. In the end, they treated our home like it was their own. Bravo Lori and June! Bravo!
